Scott creates original wall-hanging sculptures made of wood and metal. Each one is composed in a very intuitive way. He starts with the basic shape and then chooses the various woods for color and grain characteristics. Next, texture is added through carving, burning or grinding. Many of the pieces incorporate metal, such as copper or steel on which acids and oxides have been applied, which creates a beautiful patina finish.
