Scott has been working in wood and metal for 20 years, first as a furniture maker and now as a sculptor. He maintains a studio in Berkeley, CA.

Working alone, Scott builds a piece using a large assortment of tools to shape and texture various components. Any given piece may have surfaces that are sanded smooth, carved, burned, hammered or colored.
